WHAT IS POCHA?
From the 1980s to the late 1990s, street food wagons gained popularity as an option to serve food on a budget to people who were hungry after a long day of work.
The outdoor food wagons evolved into semi-outdoor stalls which we know as 'Pocha' today.
To the people of this era, Hanshin Pocha was not only a place to satisfy their hunger, but also a place to find companies and entertainment.
